TITLE mag

TITLE is a print publication that fosters a diverse creative collective of over 100 collaborators. Each issue is guided by a central theme encouraging staff to experiment conceptually through a myriad of mediums.

Issue 008 is all about our perception & experience of time. Time is a strange thing. You can't feel it. You can't touch it. It stretches moments into immeasurable years. And yet, at the snap of its fingers, decades disappear into seconds.

What is time? How does it move? How long has it really been? Do you have enough? Do you have too much? Focused on capturing moments and visualizing time, where has your time taken you? This is issue 008.

I had the pleasure of creating graphics for two projects in this issue: Metamorphosis and 00:00.

Metamorphosis

An exploration of the complicated relationships between late bloomers, growing up, transformation, and time.

Through numeric, abstract, and graphic interpretations of time (calendars, clocks, timelines, lunar cycles, etc) we can see how humans have tried to turn time into a system, something we can all universally understand. But these systems will be deconstructed and contrasted with fluidity, overcrowding, and illegibility. Maybe we are to not ever understand it, but simply exist within it.
